MYOB NetoSync Overview



Neto has created it’s own software called NetoSync to provide your business with real-time information with your MYOB application. To use this software, you will need the Neto Connect module from the Addon’s store.

How does it work?

NetoSync is installed on a computer at your store/office. It connects to your Neto Webstore and passes the data to MYOB using ODBC. The data is validated by MYOB ODBC before it is written to your MYOB file.

Data is automatically pushed to and pulled from MYOB at scheduled times throughout the day. You can define your schedule from the Neto dashboard by going to MYOB > Process Manager > Schedule.

Important! Do not setup automatic schedules until you have completed all steps in the installation guide.

You can also manually run an import or export task at any time by going to: MYOB > Quick Tasks.

Each process takes a few minutes to run once it is initiated.

NetoSync is not compatible with Webroot Anti-Virus Software as it causes the integration to cease operating.

What versions of MYOB are supported for MYOB NetoSync?

Neto currently integrates with the following MYOB accounting products:

  • MYOB Premier Enterprise v17, V18 and V19
  • MYOB Premier v17, V18 and V19
  • MYOB Accounting
  • MYOB Accounting Plus
  • MYOB Account Right Premier v19
  • MYOB Account Right Premier Enterprise v19
  • MYOB Account Right Accounting v19
  • MYOB Account Right Accounting + v19

What Data Is Integrated?

The following is the data that is pushed (exported) to MYOB and pulled (imported) from MYOB.

Pushed / Exported:

  • Invoices
  • Payments
  • Customers
  • RMA / Refunds

Pulled / Imported:

  • Customers
  • Products (Items)
  • Inventory (stock numbers)
  • Purchase Orders
  • Chart of Accounts and Tax Codes

The information that gets updated is configurable so that you can choose what fields get updated/overwritten.
