Importing Customers in Bulk

You can import your customers from another platform in bulk by utilising the Data Import Wizard. Before you start you will need to export your data from the other platform. If you’re not sure how to do this, consult with your platform’s support team.

  1. Prepare your data by either downloading our popular customer fields template or all customer fields template and populating the data with your customers information.

  2. Note: If you cannot migrate your customers passwords from your existing platform, see our passwords guide for a workaround.

  3. From the Neto dashboard, navigate to Setup & tools > Import Data then click Perform complex import and select Start Data Import Wizard.

  4. Upload the CSV template you recently completed and click Continue to Next Step.

  5. The template file will be uploaded and the wizard will try to match the column names in the import file with fields in the database. Double check to ensure the fields all match up correctly. Click Continue to Next Step.

  6. If the is a column you don’t want to import, you can select – ignore column – on that row to prevent it from being imported.

  7. There will be update options for you to complete. This will set the conditions on how the data is updated. Set your conditions and click Continue to Next Step.

  8. If you want to save this import as a template that you can use again, check Do you wish to save this import session as an import template to import with in the future? and select a template name when prompted. Click on Process File Now to queue the import process. Depending on the size of the import file, it can take up to 15 minutes to complete.
