When requesting a design tweak it’s important to include as much information as possible. If your tweak request serves to resolve an issue, please include the business problem you’re trying to solve as well as your proposed solution. This way, we can tailor a solution to meet your needs.
A web cache (or HTTP cache) is an information technology for the temporary storage (caching) of web documents, such as HTML pages and images, to reduce bandwidth usage, server load, and perceived lag. Essentially caching is a way of reducing load times.
Due to the nature of how web caching functions, there is a high likelihood of seeing an older, saved version of your webstore. There are two ways you can refresh this.
From the Neto dashboard, select the Refresh System Now link in the bottom left of the menu on your Neto control panel.
Refresh the cache that is stored on the web browser you are viewing the site on. In order to learn more about refreshing the cache on your browser, click here.
Design tweaks are undertaken on a copy of your design -referred to as a staging theme. A staging theme is used in order to work on your site without affecting your customers’ shopping experience, as well as providing a way for you to see the changes and offer feedback.
A special website URL is used to access the staging theme templates, which only you (and not your customers) will see.
TIP: In order to change your view back to see your live theme, you can visit your site url :
www.yoursiteurlhere.com/?nview=. Just replace the yoursiteurlhere with your own Neto site and it’ll change to your live theme.
Once you are happy with the work on the staging theme, you can set it live for your customers.
From the Neto dashboard, select Setup & tools > All settings & tools
On the Settings & tools page, select Webstore Settings
Change the Site template set to whichever theme has been specified by the designer.
Our Design team will always utilise their extensive design experience to ensure that all design tweaks are aesthetically pleasing whilst providing a balance of good usability and compliance with your branding.
If you would like to play a role in shaping the design tweak, we can offer the option of quoting additional time to perform a wireframe and/or mock-up to refine the design of the feature with you. You can also provide your own mock-ups and wireframes during the scoping process and we can design the feature to your own specification, provided it works with the functionality on offer with the Neto platform.
We can quote for tweaks to our premium themes, and will also fix any bugs that appear as a direct result of the tweak implementation. However any issues or bugs that you have with the theme outside of the tweak is the responsibility of the 3rd party which you purchased the theme from.
Once the scope of your design tweak is finalised, a timeframe will be provided in business days for when the work will begin. A staging theme URL will be provided to you once the work has been completed.
Please Note: All design tweaks are placed in a cue of work and completed in order of of the request. Unfortunately our design team are unable to expedite work.
If your tweak requires a third party service, we may need additional information/login details which you will need to provide to ensure the tweak is completed as quickly as possible.
All design tweaks are quoted based on time for completion, billing in 15 minute increments. Invoices are issued the following Monday after the work has been actioned. Design work is billed at a rate of $140/hour (ex GST).

We offer a warranty for all of the tweaks we perform to your site that directly affect the work actioned in the scope. However, this does not extend to other parts of your site that were not in the scope for the tweak.
