How can I add, edit or delete a shipping consignment?



When an order is in the Pack or Dispatched status you can add, edit or delete shipping consignments.

Add a Shipping Consignment

  1. Go to Orders > Pack or Orders > Dispatched
  2. Click on the order ID to open the order
  3. Scroll down the page to the shipping consignment section.

Consignment Section

 

  1. To create a consignment you have two options:
    • Auto Generate Shipping Consignment will create the consignment based on the shipping settings for each product in the order and the shipping method selected above.
    • Manually Add Shipping Consignment will allow to to select what products go into each catron and you can enter the carton dimensions and weight.

 

Auto Generate Shipping Consignment

  1. To create an automatic consignment, click on the Auto Generate Shipping Consignment button. It will create one or more catrons based on the setting of the products in the order.
  2. Select the shipping method you are creating the consignment for from the drop down list.

  1. Click on the Save Changes button.

 

Manually Add Shipping Consignment

  1. To create a manual consignment, first select which of the products will be in the first carton by entering a quantity in the Ship column for each product in the carton.

  1. Then click on the Manually Add Shipping Consignment button.
  2. Select the shipping method you are creating the consignment for from the drop down list.

  1. Check the length, width, height and weight of the carton.
  2. Repeat the process for the next carton until all the products you want to consign are assigned to a carton.
  3. Click on the Save Changes button.

Edit an existing Shipping Consignment

You can edit and re-print shipping consignment labels up until the shipping manifest related to the consignment is submitted to the freight carrier. This usually takes place when the consignments have been collected by the carrier.

You can edit a shipping consignment from the related shipping manifest. Or you can delete a shipping consignment and create a new one.

  1. Go to Shipping > View All Manifests > Pending Manifests
  2. Select the manifest by clicking on the manifest number.
  3. To edit a consignment, click on the Consignment Number in the left-hand column.

  1. The order details will display. Scroll down to the consignment section.

Edit a Consignment

  1. You can edit the carton dimensions and weight.
  2. Click on Save Changes.

 

Delete and create Consignment

  1. Click on the check box next to Delete? and Save Changes.

  1. Then create a new a new consignment. See Add a Shipping Consignment for instructions.

Delete a Shipping Consignment

You can delete shipping consignment labels up until the shipping manifest related to the consignment is submitted to the freight carrier. This usually takes place when the consignments have been collected by the carrier.

You can delete a shipping consignment from the related order or the related manifest.

 

Delete consignment from order screen:

  1. Go to Orders > Pack or Orders > Dispatched
  2. Click on the order ID to open the order
  3. Scroll down the page to the shipping consignment section.
  4. Click on the check box next to Delete?

  1. Click on Save Changes​

 

​Delete consignment from manifest screen:

  1. Go to Shipping > View All Manifests > Pending Manifests
  2. Drill into the manifest that contains the consignment you want to delete
  3. Select the consignment by clicking on the Consignment Number on the left.

 

  1. Scroll down to the consignment section.
  2. Click on the check box next to Delete?
