How do I setup my laser printer & web browser for printing shipping labels?

These instructions are designed for laser printers.

Labels

The label templates in Neto are designed to be compatible with A4 shipping labels (4 per page). These can be purchased directly from your local stationary supplier and allows for the printing of four 6”x4” shipping labels per A4 page.

Ordering eParcel Label Stationary

Australia Post also offer the following single page envelope size labels for printing Express and Regular eParcel consignments. These can be ordered directly from Australia Post. We recommend this stationary for all eParcel users as it reduces paper wastage and allows for regular and express label printing using the same printer settings.

  • Australia Post eParcel - Code: 8839405
  • Australia Post Express Post eParcel - Code: 8839407

Setting Up Your Browser For Label Printing

We recommend using Internet Explorer or Firefox when printing labels.

Setting in Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Print > Page Setup
  2. Change all page header and footer options to Empty so that time, date, page number etc do not print in the header or footer
  3. Change all margins (left, right, top and bottom) to 0
  4. Enable Print Background Colours and Images
  5. Disable Shrink To Fit
  6. Save changes and close

Settings in Firefox

  1. Go to File > Page Setup
  2. Change all page header and footer options to Blank so that time, date, page number etc do not print in the header or footer
  3. Change all margins (left, right, top and bottom) to 0
  4. Enable Print Background Colours and Images
  5. Save changes and close

If you are having trouble fitting the labels on your stationary, adjust you printer margins slightly in your browsers page settings.

Generic Settings for other Browsers

For all other browsers follow these basic rules:

  1. Set all printer margins to zero (“0”) - so that the print out reaches the edge of the page
  2. Remove the “header” and “footer” that prints out on on each page
  3. Ensure that the page size is set to A4

Please note: eParcel stationary is not required when printing labels from Neto. You can use generic labels. If you are using generic labels, please ensure that you have headings enabled.
