Can I change how my sender information / email address is viewed?

When customers receive an order confirmation or dispatch notification email the full email address of the sender will typically be displayed.

It is not possible to hide or modify how this information is viewed as this is determined by the user’s email application or how the recipient has saved the contact details in their address book.
