When you use the Neto integration with MailChimp, it will synchronise your customers who selected to subscribe to your newsletter.
If you are using one of our templates, the subscription form (normally at the bottom of the page) will not integrate with MailChimp without a change to the design of the theme.
This article covers:
Click on the arrow on the far right of the list that syncs with your site and select Signup Forms.
Click on Embedded Forms.
Switch to the Naked tab and copy the text in the field under Copy/paste onto your site. The is the form code that needs to be integrated into the form on your website.
If you have experience with HTML coding, you can integrate the code from the MailChimp form with the code on your theme template.
From the Neto Dashboard select Settings & tools > All settings & tools.
Locate Webstore Templates under the System Templates section.
Click on the plus sign next to the theme name you are using. Then go into footers and click on template.html. The template will load in an editor.
The details you will need from the MailChimp form is the form action, hidden fields and the class / id and name for the email field.
Once you have made the changes, save and test the form.
If you have no HTML experience, you can request for our design team to make the change for you. To request the change, go to our Ask Us page and click on I need some design work done (website, eBay, newsletter template or system documents). Fill in the form and include the code from MailChimp. The design team will reply with a quote on the change.
