NAB Transact Setup

NAB Introduction video

Neto uses the NAB Transact API integration for this method. The integration is straight forward and you can get started straight away once you’ve received your merchant information.

Customers will receive an email from their client manager like the one below:

Live and Test Hosted Payment Page Implementation - Merchant ID (or “vendor_name”): Y2X1110
Live Direct Post and API Implementation
- Merchant ID (or “EPS_MERCHANT”): Y2X1110
- Live Transaction Password: xxxxxxxxx
Test Direct Post and API Implementation
- Merchant ID (or “EPS_MERCHANT”): Y2X1110
- Test Transaction Password: xxxxxxxxx

  1. From the Neto dashboard, navigate to Setup & Tools > Payment Methods.

  2. Click on the Visa/Mastercard icon.

  3. Under the first drop-down menu, select NAB and under the second menu drop-down select either Realtime Processing for just standard processing or Store Card & Charge Later option if you have triggered payments as part of your contract with NAB. Press Continue.

  4. Under Payment Methods select Visa, Mastercard and any other payment types setup with NAB.

  5. Under Configuration you will need the merchant information given to you from NAB.

    If you selected Realtime Processing:
Your Merchant ID (or “EPS_MERCHANT”) goes into Nab transact payment gateway user id in Neto.
Your Live Transaction Password goes into Nab transact payment gateway password in Neto.

If you selected Store Card & Charge Later:
Your Merchant ID (or “EPS_MERCHANT”) goes into Nabtransact triggered payments gateway user id in Neto.
Your Live Transaction Password goes into Nabtransact triggered payments gateway password in Neto.

  6. If you have Store Card & Charge Later option selected, select whether you want to record credit card in payment gateway and charge credit card later (if unselected, will charge immediately instead).

  7. Select your Currency. Multi-currency is supported by NAB, however in order for this to function, your clearing account (where the payment is deposited) must also support multiple currencies. If you’re not sure, check with NAB.

  8. Add a Surcharge and Min/Max Spend if required, otherwise, leave this blank.

  9. Scroll down and click Continue button.

  10. Now that your setup it complete, run a live transaction to ensure your setup is working correctly.
