How do I edit the Custom Order Fields?



 Custom Order Fields is an Add-On. If you do not see custom fields when viewing a order you can install the Add-on.

Once installed, each order will have four custom fields that appear at the bottom of the page:



To change the settings on the custom order fields:

  1. From the Neto Dashboard navigate to Setup & Tools > All Settings & Tools



  2. Under Sales Orders & Invoices select Custom Sales Order Fields.



  3. Select the field you wish to modify by clicking the Field ID or Field Name.



  4. Enter a name for the field next to Field Name.


  5. Select a Field Type. Short Text is for details up to 50 characters in length while Text can store up to 1,000 characters.


  6. This field can also be added to the Checkout page. If you want to require the customer to fill in this field, set Required Field to Yes.


  7. The Field Description is an in internal description of the field that displays when viewing the list of custom order fields.



To display custom fields on the Checkout page a change to the design template is required. Contact your web designer or our design team to make the changes.
