This support article requires the Neto Ship addon from Neto’s Addon Store.

Setting up Toll Ipec as a shipping method requires several steps prior creation.

Import shipping zones

The Toll Ipec zones need to be imported so that postcodes in Australia can be grouped into geographic zones.

  1. Download the Toll Ipec - Shipping Zones file and save it to your computer.

  2. From the Neto Dashboard, navigate to Setup & Tools > Shipping.

  3. Select Shipping Zones.

  4. Select Import Shipping Zones.

  5. Click Choose File and upload the Toll Ipec zones file downloaded in step one.

  6. Select Upload File, and the Toll Ipec zones will be imported into Neto.

Preparing your data

Toll Ipec will provide your rates in an excel spreadsheet which isn’t able to be imported into Neto as is. The data will need to be transposed into Neto’s template for it to be imported.

  1. Open the excel spreadsheet provided by Toll Ipec. It should look similar to this. You should also download the Neto Rates template, and open it as well.

  2. The TO column in your file provided matches to the Zone Code and Zone Weight in the Neto template, so you can copy it across. We recommend using Paste Special and choosing Values.

  3. Type Toll Ipec into the Courier Name field and copy it down the page for each row.

  4. The next column in your provided data is Basic Charge. Copy this into the 1st Parcel field in the template, again making sure to paste values only.

  5. The Kilo Rate from Toll goes into the Per KG field in the Neto template (again, paste values only).

  6. Minimum Charge is the same with Toll and Neto, so copy and paste the values only into the Neto template.

  7. If you have a shipping time in days, copy that into the Deliver Time field in the template. Otherwise, delete the column header. You should also enter 0 into the Minimum field for each row. Maximum can be left blank or populated with a maximum weight if provided.

You can now save and close the file, as it’s ready to be imported.

Import the shipping rates

Now that the template of rates is complete, it can be imported into Neto.

  1. From the Neto Dashboard navigate to Setup & Tools > Shipping.

  2. Select Shipping Services & Rates.

  3. In the top right corner, select Add New.

  4. Enter a Name, set the Status to Active, Charge Type to Weight/Cubic, Cubic Weight Modifier to 250 (or whatever the rates spreadsheet specified). Uncheck Ship to PO Box, set the tracking URL to Toll Ipec, and add in your Fuel Levy % (if provided). When done, click Save.

  5. Scroll down the page and select Import Zones and Rates .CSV File [+], then Choose File to upload your rates.

  6. You’ll be given a preview of the rates. Check a few and confirm the data is correct, then Save.

Create the shipping method

The shipping method is what displays to customers on the front end of your site. To create a shipping method:

  1. From the Neto Dashboard navigate to Setup & Tools > Shipping.

  2. Select Shipping Methods.

  3. In the top right corner select Add New.

  4. Enter a Name, set the status to Active, Visible To Customer to Yes, and turn delivery to PO Boxes off, then Save.

  5. At the bottom of the page select Add Shipping Category, select the default (or your own defined shipping category), and choose Toll Ipec for the rates. Check the indicated checkbox, and Save.

  6. Complete the Shipping Carrier Label Setup form and Neto staff will configure your labels as a free service.
