Adding a YouTube Video

YouTube videos are a great way to push your point across to your customers with visual media. YouTube can bring in customers by expanding the reach of your brand.

Use your YouTube videos in effective ways. What might be a dull category page or product page can be a lot more interesting with the use of a relevant YouTube video. This content can help engage your users and keep them shopping on your site.

Start your own YouTube channel! Do reviews of your products, common issues or trends within your niche. Fresh and unique content is a great way to capture your customers, and bring them back again and again.

To embed a YouTube video on your Neto Web Store you'll first need to grab the embed code from YouTube:

  1. Go to the YouTube video page of the video that you'd like to embed.

  2. Click on the Share link underneath the video and switch to the Embed tab. Here, you can copy the iFrame Code:

    You can adjust the video size by clicking on the Show More link.

    Once you've got that data you will need to embed the code to a product or a page.

  3. First go to the Product Page or Information Page:

    For a content page go to Content and select the type of page you'd like to add the video to.

    For a Product Category, go to Content > Product Categories in the cPanel menu and select a Category.

    For a product, go to Products > View All Products in the menu, search for the SKU you'd like to add it to and select it.

  4. Scroll down to the Content section (for product categories and content pages)

    or Description (for products), and click on the Source Code tab.

  5. Paste the iFrame Code into the editor section and save.

    Please Note: YouTube videos aren't responsive by default.

    To make your YouTube Videos responsive, you can use the below snippet of code. Place the "src=" with the output from the YouTube Video page

    16:9 aspect ratio

    <div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9">
    <iframe class="embed-responsive-item" src=""></iframe>

    4:3 aspect ratio

    <div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-4by3">
    <iframe class="embed-responsive-item" src=""></iframe>
