Customer Emails

What are the Customer emails?

Our system includes a number of account-related emails. They are listed below.

/first_purchase

This is the email sent to the customer when they make their first purchase on your site.

You can configure this email by navigating to:

Content > Email Templates > Customer Emails > First Purchase Email

/change_password

This email is sent to the customer when they change their password.

You can configure this email by navigating to:

Content > Email Templates > Customer Emails > Customer Change Password Notification Email

/forgot_password

This email is sent to the customer when they reset their password from the log-in form. It contains their new, system-generated password.

You can configure this email by navigating to:

Content > Email Templates > Customer Emails > Customer Recover Password Email

/forgot_username

This email is sent to the customer when they request their forgotten username from the log-in form.

You can configure this email by navigating to:

Content > Email Templates > Customer Emails > Customer Recover Username Email

/referral_commission_email

This email tells the customer how much commission they have earned.

You can configure this email by navigating to:

Content > Email Templates > Customer Emails > Customer Referral Commission Notification Email

Accessing this template via SFTP

All of these emails are stored in the following directory on the file server: /private/www/netosuite/SysDoc/emails/customer/.

We recommend backing-up all emails before making modifications.
