Strikethrough Pricing

Strikethrough pricing (STP) on your eBay listing shows customers there is a discounted price on the Recommended Retail Price (RRP). This can be an attractive marketing tool to gain more sales.

Neto currently supports STP for fixed price single listings only, unfortunately this feature is not available to variable listings.

How do I setup Strikethrough pricing? (STP)

  1. To enable this, you will need to fill out a request form which is sent directly to eBay to enable STP on your account. The average time for this to be completed is 5 business days. Once approved, moved on to the next step.

  2. STP needs to be setup from your listing rules template. From the Neto dashboard, simply go to Ebay > Listing Rules Templates and click on the the ID number you wish to change.

  3. Click on the Field Mapping tab, press the Show Optional Fields button and scroll down to the heading Discount Price Information.

  4. Tick the option Display the word “Was” next to the discounted price of the item?

  5. In the Original Retail Price field, map the column name to *RRP.

Important Notice about STP: The ACCC regulates and monitors STP sales for false/misleading pricing. You can read more about STP pricing from the ACCC website.
