Duplicate Listings

Sometimes you may wish to have the same SKU listed on eBay in separate listings. This may be required during a migration to the system or when listing new items for the first time.

Note that eBay does not permit duplicate items to be listed on eBay and as a result Neto does not take any responsibility in listings being ended by eBay for this reason.

Some merchants may have similar active listings that are assigned to the same SKU after importing into the system. This is usually because the same custom label on eBay was used as the SKU in the system.

In this scenario the products and active listings need to be separated so they do not revise to be identical and they can continue to be managed individually.

New Listings

The system does not allow the same SKU to be listed to more than one BIN listing. If you wish to achieve this you will need to set up new SKU's that are single kits of original SKUs.

Splitting active listings

To split active listings or to have the ability to list identical SKU please follow these instructions:

  1. Clone the exisitng SKU to a new SKU

  2. Add the original SKU to kitting section of new SKU and set QTY to 1

  3. Edit title, description, price, category and any other information you would like to be displayed differently on second listing. This is essential as even though we have created a new SKU to manage the identical listing, if of all the information is the same on both eBay listings one or both may be removed.
  4. Reassign active listing to new SKU.

  • The new SKU will have its stock levels controlled by original SKU so no need to enter any stock data in this listing.
  • If you do not wish for the identical SKU to be displayed on webshop please mark it as not approved to show on webshop.
