GTC (good 'til canceled) listings will keep renewing on eBay until they are won or have been manually cancelled.

The eBay API has a restriction on the number of variation images that can be displayed. The number of images is limited to the first set of variations. For example, colour: black, red or white.
If a second set of variations are available, for example size, images for these variations will not be displayed.
To specify which sets of images you would like to display, select the set in the listing template by going to:
eBay> eBay listing templates> view all> open template
Click tab “listing design and images” and scroll down to “image mapping”
Specify which sets of images you would like to display
If you would like to add more images to the listing, please add a gallery to the listing template by going to:
eBay> eBay listing designer
Open the template you want to change
Add a gallery from the “HTML/ CSS” tab
When you integrate your Neto account with eBay, an eBay token is generated. This token lasts approximately one year and enables Neto to access your eBay account.
You can generate a new token at any time:
You will then be directed to the eBay site to login and authorise Neto to access your account. Once you have completed this step a new token will be automatically generated.
You can have different product titles, subtitles, descriptions, images and pricing for your eBay listings and your website. You will need to populate these fields in Neto (either manually on the product page or by csv import) and map them on the eBay listings template.
In the example below, the new eBay title is what is written in the field called “eBay title”.
In the example below, the new eBay title is the name plus the brand plus the static value text.
If the name is “Baby Bottle 200ml Green” and the brand is “Baby Love”, it will create the new title:
Baby Bottle 200ml Green Baby Love Free Shipping
To create a custom field
You can name your fields anything you like. Once created, they will appear in the “other section” on your product management pages. They will also appear as fields to import to in your import system and fields to map on your eBay listing template.
To use a different product description
Populate the eBay description field on the product page.
To use different images
Specify which images to use on the eBay listing template.
You can also specify different images in your design template. For more information on how to edit your design template, click here.
[name] = name of shipping method
[cost] = shipping cost
[desc] = description of shipping method
Is this option available for your category?
The variations option is dependent on whether the category in eBay allows the option or not. eBay has restrictions on which categories allow variations and which don't.
You can create listings with variations in several eBay categories:
- Clothing, Shoes & Accessories
- Health & Beauty
- Home & Garden
- Jewellery & Watches
- Sporting Goods
- Vehicle Parts & Accessories
For an updated list and more information, visit the eBay support desk regarding Creating A Listing With Variations.
Which products should I list?
If a product has variations (eg: comes in different colours and sizes) then you must only list the “parent” or “container” product and not each individual variation. When you list the “parent” or “container” product, the system will automatically list all of its variations (children).
To make a listing template support variations
The system will now automatically list the variations assigned to a product when this option is enabled. You must have product variations added to the product on the product page in order to use this option. Failure to assign variations will prevent products from listing.
To remove/ mark a variation as out of stock
Tick the box 'Enable Out of Stock Control' on the eBay Listing Template. This will allow the variation will be marked as 'out of stock'.
Can I make changes to variations once listed?
eBay does not allow revision of variation related information in listings once listed. The only way to update the information in the listing is to end the listing and relist.
You can do this by selecting a pricing group, populating it with your eBay pricing and then specifying the pricing group on the eBay listing template.
For example, you could make group “A” the website retail price, group “B” the website wholesale price and group “C” the eBay price. You can also change the names of the pricing groups to make it easier to remember. Find more information on pricing groups click here.
In the example below, the website price is $49.99 and the eBay price is $40.99.
Once you have created your pricing, you will need to create an eBay template and map the pricing under the “field mapping” tab.
eBay> eBay listing templates> view all
Open the template you want to map the pricing on.
Go to the “field mapping” tab.
For fixed price listings, map your eBay price group to the start price.
For auctions, you can map the start price (or make this a static value), the buy it now price and the second chance offer price.
This is an advanced configuration setting that can be accessed by doing the following:
admin> system setup
Now go to:
admin> advanced configuration
This will take you to the advanced system configuration options (that are only visible after accessing the basic config).
Filter by name:
Open the config and change the setting to:
YES if you want ebay customers to be automatically subscribed
NO if you want them not to be subscribed.
Save your changes.
There is a configuration in the system setup that enables Neto to check all incoming eBay orders for the correct shipping.
admin> system setup> eBay config
When enabled, this will check the shipping cost paid by customers on eBay against your system calculated shipping cost during order import to determine if the correct shipping cost has been paid. If the incorrect shipping has been paid orders will be placed on hold automatically.
