Setting up Outlets / Warehouses

An outlet is another name for a store or shop front. You can keep track of stock and sales at multiple outlets from a single Neto control panel. If you do have multiple shop fronts, you must setup an outlet for each one.

How can I create or update Warehouses / Outlets?

  1. From the Neto Dashboard, navigate to Stock Control and select Locations/Warehouses.

  2. Click on the green Add New button.

  3. Fill out your warehouse or outlet details, and make sure to enter a Phone Number and an Address. This is important as Neto POS registers linked to this location will use these details on tax invoices / receipts.

How do I setup different pricing for different outlets?

The Customer Groups addon is required from the Neto addon store

The Customer Group feature allows POS merchants to have different pricing for different outlets by assigning warehouses with a customer group. Additionally merchants with webstore and POS store have the ability to maintain different pricing on different channels.

  1. From the Neto dashboard, navigate to Stock Control and select Locations/Warehouses.

  2. Edit an existing or Add New warehouse, and set your customer group.

  3. In case you have a customer already assigned with a certain price group attached to a sale, then the warehouse/outlet pricing over rides the customer card.

If there is a requirement to over ride the customer pricing group then the same can be achieved by disabling the Use Customer Group toggle on the customer card in POS.

  4. Please ensure you’ve completed a synchronisation in POS once you’ve completed your setup.

How many warehouses / outlets does Neto POS support?

The number of warehouses and outlets you can create is determined by your Neto subscription. You can review your Neto subscription options here.

Can I have multiple registers for each warehouse / outlet?

You can have as many registers per outlet as you need. When you create a register you decide which warehouse it is associated with.
