This is an issue with the shipping settings in the eBay Listing Template for this product.

Go to the eBay Listing Template for that product. In the product edit page, go to the List to eBay section and click on the link under Listing Template. Click on the Shipping tab and scroll down to the Domestic Shipping section. At the Services option, if you have selected Calculated by eBay, you will need to select the eBay shipping service from the dropdown menu. Then save the changes.

The quantity must be a valid number greater than 0. (Error 515)

The stock on hand for the product was a negative number at the time error was generated.

Either make sure the Stock on Hand for this product is a positive number or if don't need to count stock for this product, you can set it as a virtual product. To do this, go to the Stock Control section of the product details and tick Virtual (Not Inventoried) Item. Then save the changes.

Potential duplicate listing for Item XXXX (SKU:YYYY) on listing #ZZZ. Record Skipped.

eBay has detected that this product is very close to another product you have listed. To list the product, change the product name and description.

To find the product it is similar to, the ‘ZZZ’ in the error message is the Listing ID. Go to eBay > Listing > Active and search enter the number under Listing ID and search. Changing the product name and description should fix the issue.

Variation specific name exceed limit 5. (Error 21916579)

eBay limits the number of specifics on child products (variations) to 5. You can still have more than 5 specifics on the parent product.

To fix, remove the extra specifics on all the child products so that you have 5 or less.

XXX is a parent product. Record Skipped.

This product has variation (or child) products but the eBay Listing Template has not been set to allow variation products.

Go to the List on eBay section for the product and click on the Listing Template name. Click on the Categorisation & Listing Rules tab and scroll down to the Variations section. Then tick Variation Listing Template and save the template. If you have some products with variations and some without, you will need to use a different eBay Listing Template.

Category does not support item variations.

The eBay category you have selected for this product does not allow products with variations (products with children). There are some eBay categories that doesn’t allow variations, however, most times it means that the categories need to be setup or the latest categories need to be downloaded from ebay.

First check the eBay Listing Template to see which eBay category option has been selected. Go to the List on eBay section for the product and click on the Listing Template name. Click on the Categorisation & Listing Rules tab and scroll down to the Categorisation section. Check the setting for 'Use category mapping?'

If 'Use category mapping?' is ticked, first check to see what category the product has been assigned to it. Go to your product details and scroll down the the Categorisation section and note the category. For instructions on category mapping, check out the article How to I Setup eBay Category Mapping.

If 'Use category mapping?' is un-ticked, go to the List on eBay section for the product. Under the eBay Category column, click on the pencil icon next to 1:.

For a list of which eBay categories allow variations, check out this eBay article, Which categories can have listings with variations?

If your listing does support variations and you believe this to be incorrect, you may have outdated ebay categories and will need to be updated. To do this in Neto, go to Ebay > Setup > Site Manager. Select the country affected and scroll down the bottom to download categories. Once this has been completed in the process queue, check again.

No rate table has been created. Please create the rate table. (Error 21917100)

In your eBay Listing Template you have selected to use the shipping rates table from your My eBay account.

If you want to use the shipping rates table in eBay, check out this article for instructions to set it up.

If you want to use a different shipping option, go to the eBay Listing Template linked to that product. Click on the Shipping tab and scroll down to Domestic Shipping. Next to How do you charge for shipping? select another shipping option other than Use My eBay Domestic Rate Table and save the changes. This change will affect all products linked allocated to this template.

We noticed that you don't have a payment method set up with your eBay account. As soon as you take care of this, you'll be able to list more items. (Error 21917158)

This is an error from eBay. Most likely you need to set the payment method to pay eBay fees. Log into eBay and check your account settings to fix.

You can't require immediate payment when you’re using Freight postage. (Error 21919148)

The eBay List Template for this product has shipping option Freight: Large and bulky items (define the rates table to use in your listing calculator below) selected and Require Immediate Paypal Payment ticked.

Since you are using the from your List and Send / Neto site to calculate the freight cost, you will not be able to use the Require Immediate Paypal Payment option.

To fix, either use a different shipping option under the Shipping tab. Scroll down to Domestic Shipping and change How do you charge for shipping?.

Or go to the Payment & Returns tab and under the Payment Methods Accepted section, un-tick Require Immediate Paypal Payment.

You can click on Save Template & Revise Active Listings to update all the listing linked to this template.

To fix, go to the Naming & Visibility section of the product details and change the Brand value.

Source picture uses an unsupported colorspace. (Error 21919010)

The JPEG product image uses the CMYK color space. This is not supported by eBay and some web browsers.

To fix, you will need to convert the image to the RGB color space and re-upload the image. Most good graphic editing programs can do convert between the different color spaces such as GIMP or Photoshop.

For more information on the image requirements, check out eBay's Photo Requirements to Remember.

Your listing cannot contain javascript (".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", IFRAME, META, or includes), cookies or base href. (Error 353)

eBay does not allow certain website features in product listings. Certain parts of the Javascript programing language cannot be used and also frames.

If you have a Google Map or YouTube video embedded in your product description (or eBay Design Template), both use the IFRAME tag. The workaround for a YouTube video is to use the old embed code. YouTube no longer has the code generator on their site but you can generate the code using this online tool: Valid XHTML YouTube embed code generator. There is currently no workaround for Google Maps other than to convert the map into an image.

If your description (or eBay Design Template) contains JavaScript commands .cookie, cookie() or replace(), they will need to be removed.

Error 107: The category isn't valid, select another category This is because there is a secondary category setup in category mapping that is not allowed for this type of category. Simply remove the secondary category:

Error 21919301: UPC is missing a value. Enter a value and try again.

In March 2016 eBay set a mandatory standard to have UPC values applied to listings in some categories. You can avoid this by setting 'Does Not Apply' to your listings to avoid the issue. By default, if the UPC field is blank in Neto, we automatically apply this wording for you so you can continue to trade without any issues.

Some customers have experienced syncing issues where ebay has not recognised the field has been updated.

If you have a have a UPC/EAN populated and you get this error, you may want to check if the UPC/EAN is valid and field mapping is correctly setup.

To fix the syncing issue:
To fix this for a single listing in Neto, go to Ebay > Listings > Active and click on the affected Listing ID.

Click the button 'Download Latest Details from Ebay' button and allow a few minutes for the listing to be downloaded correctly. Click 'Save & Revise' and the error should be resolved.

If this does not work, repeat the process a couple of times until the error disappears.

To fix this in bulk in Neto, go to Ebay > Listings > Active and click on 'Download Ebay Listings' in the top right hand corner to bulk update your listings.

Once this process is complete, you can do a bulk revise or you can wait until your next scheduled revise for the error to be fixed.

To fix when UPC is populated:
Go to Products and go into the affected SKU. Go to 'Warehouse & Picking' heading and copy the UPC/EAN barcode. In Google, lookup 'UPC/EAN lookup' and utilise a database to lookup your barcode to ensure it is in fact a valid UPC/EAN. If it's not, you'll need to delete this from the field.

If it is a valid UPC/EAN, go back to the SKU and go to the 'List to Ebay' heading. Click on the listing rules template then go to the 'Field Mapping' tab.

Click 'Show More Options' button and scroll down to UPC and ensure it's mapped to Column Name: 'UPC/EAN' and not another field. Save and revise the listing.

For example: 'Size & Colour' to be changed to 'Size and Colour'

You may be required to end the listing altogether and relist with the new specifics.

4105: Error 10019: Inconsistent postage parameters. - One or more parameter values in the input request are invalid. Check the response for Error Parameters elements to determine which parameters have invalid values. Correct these values, and then resend the input request. (#10)

Occurs only when listing domestically and internationally.

This error stems from the compatibility of the insurance fees added to an invalid shipping type.

To fix this, simply go into your listing rules template and click on the shipping tab and check if an insurance fee has been added. It's important to note that an insurance fee can only be specified when using flat rate shipping.

If issues still occur, try setting your domestic and international shipping types to be the same.

For example, if you are using flat rate shipping for domestic shipping, use flat rate shipping for your international shipping in the listing rules template as well.
