Heartbleed Security Update

This week, security researchers released details of a security vulnerability in the OpenSSL protocol which potentially allows an attacker to access information from a client or server’s memory.

Firstly, we would like to stress that every ecommerce website that uses Neto is secure against Heartbleed.

We have patched all our servers that were vulnerable to Heartbleed and our our CDN provider has reissued all SSL certificates in order to eliminate any risk of private key leakage.

We don't have any evidence that Neto hosted websites have been comprised. As a general precaution, we advise that you regularly change passwords, and other sensitive credentials like payment gateway and API credentials. This would be a good time to update all such passwords.
