You can bulk Pick, Pack and Dispatch orders in Neto. This is the most efficient way to process orders. We suggest moving all orders ready to send to the “pick” status and then batch processing from there. The system can automatically move orders to “pick” that are ready to the sent (based on a set of rules).
Bulk picking is only used where you do a staged process of picking and then packing (usually with different staff members picking and packing). During a bulk “pick” you can print pick slips, print consolidated pick slips, back-order lines and move orders to the “pack” status.
Bulk packing is the most popular bulk process. In addition to everything you can do in a bulk pick process, you can also create shipping consignments and move orders to the “dispatched” status. The only action that cannot be performed as part of a bulk pack process is back-ordering as all items are already presumed “picked” during this bulk process.
A bulk process number will be created for each bulk process. In the event of a power outage, a computer shut down or a time out during a bulk process, you can re-access your bulk process by going to: Orders > Active Bulk Processes.
A list of your active, incomplete processes will then be displayed. Drill into the process to continue.
Order processes, including bulk processes are locked to users. Therefore two users cannot work on the same order at a time.
