How do I create a new content type?



You can create your own content types over and above the content types that come preinstalled in your system. The default content types are:

 

  • Product categories
  • Blogs
  • Information pages
  • Buying guides


You can add any number of pages under each content type. 

To add a new content type:
 

  1. Go to: admin > content types manage
  2. Click “add new” to add a new content type
  3. Give you content type a name, unique code and select the fields that you want to be available for that content type. You can rename the fields to meet your requirements
  4. Save
