You may want to add Specifics to your listing template however it is not mandatory. Specifics are good for items where you need to include extra information, such as ratings if you sell movies or materials if you sell clothing.
From the Neto Dashboard, select to eBay > Listing rules templates
Click the listing rules template you wish to add a new specific to and click on the Categorisation & Listing Rules tab.
Under Specifics, click the Add New Primary Category Specific button and add your Specific and Value. Leave the Value blank if you wish for the field to be populated from the product page. If you have more than one, simply click the button again to add more fields.
In our example, our Specific/Value is Material and Plastic. This will appear on all eligible listings, however if the specific value was blank and on the product page the specific value was 'Metal', this will appear instead.
The specifics listed here will show up on the ebay listing just above the description as per the example below.
If the value of the specific is different for every product, you can choose instead to map these with Specifics/Values listed on the product level. To do this, simply add the Specific but leave the Value field blank.
To Setup A Specific On The Product Level
From the Neto dashboard, go to Products > View Products > Click on the Product and go to the Specific/Filters tab add the specific and value and click the Add Specific button.
In the example above, we have Rating: MA15. On the eBay listing rules template, we would simply have the Specific as ‘Rating’ and the value blank.
